An original Marantz Model 1060 integrated stereo amplifier from Marantz's legendary 1970s "golden era."

Designed in California and manufactured in Japan, the Model 1060 has become one of the most sought-after vintage integrated amplifiers ever produced. Its superb phono stage, warm analogue sound and timeless Marantz styling have earned it an outstanding reputation among audiophiles and collectors worldwide.

Unlike many surviving examples, this amplifier retains its original Marantz pre-out/main-in couplers, original knobs, original faceplate and original factory woodgrain cabinet.

So, it is an earlier production example, likely from around 1973–1974, before Marantz adopted the later Showa-coded serial numbering for many 1060s.

This amplifier is in very good vintage cosmetic condition.

The brushed aluminium faceplate presents beautifully with only light age-related signs of use.

All lettering remains clear and complete.

All original Marantz knobs and switches are present.

The original Pre-Out/Main-In jumpers are still fitted to the rear panel—these are often missing and are becoming increasingly difficult to source.

The original factory woodgrain cabinet remains in very good condition with only minor signs of age and careful use.

The amplifier powers on correctly and the blue power indicator illuminates.

Rear RCA sockets remain original and complete.
