Vintage acrylic painting on wood panel titled on the reverse side “Tired Old Car”. Painting is signed in the lower left hand corner of JHM with the artist’s full name, John H. Meyer, on the reverse side as well as more information handwritten on the wood panel. Artist appears to be an outsider to the art world, however, the painting is rendered very well in an impressionist ashcan style expressing expertly the feeling of the painting. Painting is in overall very good to near excellent condition with some minor age, storage, handling or wall wear. Wooden frame also has some minor age, storage, handling or wall wear. Entire piece including the frame measures approximately 18 1/2 x 14 1/2 inches. Wood panel measures about 16 x 12 inches.
