(361) This listing is for a Beautiful Vintage (c 1970s) Danish Sculptural, Design, Adjustable Gyroscopic Brass Spirit Lamp, designed in the 1950s by 'Ilse D Ammonsen' for 'Daproma Design'. It is signed on the base, and has its original paper label. The ingenious construction maintains the level of the candle by self-centring when subjected to movement. it has a circular base, a round profile shaft, which has an adjustable height arm, holding the three point gimbal pendulum system, and the tubular lamp oil / paraffin reservoir. It is 27.5cm high, with a 7.8cm diameter base, in great condition (please refer to the condition report, and the photos) and it would make an interesting and attractive contemporary style item of home or office décor.
