A lovely vintage rectangular C.W.S. biscuit tin, originally produced as a free sample tin, as marked on the base. Features an attractive faux tortoiseshell effect in rich brown and amber tones, decorated with ornate elephant motifs to the lid. An unusual piece of vintage advertising packaging and a great addition to a collection of old biscuits, C.W.S. or advertising tins.

Condition

In well-used vintage condition with age-related wear throughout, including scratches, scuffs, marks, paint loss and surface wear. There is noticeable loss and rubbing to parts of the elephant decoration, along with wear to the edges and corners. The interior also shows age-related discolouration and wear.
