A wonderful vintage rectangular souvenir tin commemorating the Coronation of King George V and Queen Mary in 1911. The lid features a central portrait of the royal couple surrounded by detailed period illustrations, including ships and scenes associated with the British Empire. The sides are decorated with further period images, including a portrait group of the royal children.

Condition:

In well-used vintage condition with considerable age-related wear throughout, including scratches, surface marks, paint loss, rubbing, tarnishing and areas of rust/corrosion. There is noticeable wear and flaking to the central portrait and around the edges. The interior also shows discolouration, staining and surface corrosion.
