Up for bid is a vintage mid-century green plastic jewelry box by the Hommer Mfg Co of Newark, NJ.  The piece measures 7 1/4 inches long by 5 1/2 inches deep by 3 inches tall.  It is made of green and white mottled plastic.  The hinged lid has a hinged inner tray with compartments like a fishing tackle box.  It is marked “HOMMER MFG. CO. / NEWARK 5 N.J. U.S.A.” on the foot.

Condition on the piece is fairly good.  There is a tight crack in the base next to one of the hinges, but it is not very noticeable.  There is normal wear from use. An interesting vintage box!
