Vintage Philips Automatic 406 DC Servo Belt-Drive Turntable, model/type 22GA406/42B.

Made in Germany and designed for 117V, 60Hz operation.

The turntable powers on and appears to operate mechanically. The following functions were tested:

* Platter spins

* Power indicator light illuminates

* Tonearm moves

* Cueing/lift lever operates

* Start and stop mechanism responds

However, the stylus/needle is broken, so the turntable was not tested with a record and the audio output has not been tested. Because it has not been fully tested, it is being sold as-is for parts, repair, or restoration.

A round cover/cap appears to be missing from the top of the tonearm pivot assembly. The mechanism underneath is visible. Please review the photos carefully.

The front panel has a deeply engraved identification/inventory number: F4303 250243-0. The smoked dust cover has scratches, marks and normal age-related wear. The base and controls also show cosmetic wear consistent with age and previous use.

Includes the cartridge currently installed, but the stylus is damaged and will require replacement. No record or additional accessories are included.
