This listing is for a vintage Dewey brand saxophone stand. I would guess that this stand dates to the 1960's or earlier. The height is adjustable, but a tenor doesn't lay on it quite right, so I think it was intended for alto only. The purpose of the adjustable height is probably more so that it can be folded down into a more compact space. The yokes and the tips of the legs are all rubber coated in an eye-catching candy apple red color. This stand has holes drilled in a couple of the legs for a clarinet/flute peg, but no pegs are included. This might have been an post-production modification. The adjustment nut also appears to possibly be non-original. This sax stand is in great shape. It has light wear from normal use, but no damage. The rubber is in good condition.
