These
GPU's work out of the box with the latest CUDA drivers with no issue on
Windows and Linux working with similar or regular A100 pcie cards.
I
apply complimentary Honeywell PTM pads onto the cores of these cards
for long term stability. The mosfets come with fresh 2mm thermal pads
and individual mosfets and inductors get long-term K5 Pro thermal putty.
GPU + power adapter (2x pcie to 1x 8 pin EPS) is all that comes in the purchase.
Fully tested with GPU Burn for an hour. Reports ~1600 GB/s memory speed (via gpu burn memory bandwidth test)
Reports ~18TFlops of compute power (slightly lower power due to lower TDP than SXM Version.
The ~250W power limit:
SXM
cards are more aggressively powered at 400W but the heatsinks on the
pcie versions arent able to cool as much, thus pcie cards limited to
250W. dcgm complains about this in the diagnostics
since the firmware still thinks its an sxm card but its completely a
non issue and doesnt effect the card in any use case. A100 pcie cards
are by default 250w in power.
