Following the 'JV serial' and 'SQ serial (Squier)', we now have the 'E serial' Stratocaster, a testament to the early days of Fender Japan! And among them, we have a rare left-handed model in stock!
Left-handed models are naturally less common, but Fender Japan at the time offered models from 1957 to 1962 and 1972, with a higher-end 1967 model. This particular guitar is the 1957 model 'ST57-55L'. Its appeal lies in its crisp sound thanks to its one-piece maple neck and ST-VINTAGE pickups. Fujigen-made Fender Japan guitars have been experiencing a surge in popularity both domestically and internationally recently. Detailed description: Overall, there are scratches, signs of use, and discoloration. There is a black discoloration on the side of the body. The truss rod is functioning well, with ample adjustment range in both forward and reverse directions. The neck curvature has been adjusted with the truss rod. When the treble side is adjusted to be straight, the bass side has a slight forward bow. There is some high-frequency bowing. The string height has been set higher to reduce buzzing.
