Offered is an original J.V. Bush AMG-VG Specialist Study Sheet documenting the famous 50 cent Pegasus AMG-VG Italy Air Mail overprint.
Unlike ordinary stamp lots, this page represents decades of specialized research assembled by one of America's best-known AMG-VG students.
The page illustrates numerous documented gum and shade varieties together with Bush's own study layout and handwritten research notes.
Most significant is the notation printed on the study sheet:
"ONLY ONE SHEET OF THE FOLLOWING IS KNOWN."
Material of this type was never intended for normal collectors but rather for advanced students studying AMG-VG production, gum characteristics, shade differences and printing varieties.
