This lot consists of four vintage plaster ceramic hand puppets from the 1970s, handmade and unique folk art pieces originating from Georgia in the United States. These one-of-a-kind works are a versatile and collectible addition to any puppet collection or toy assortment. With their nostalgic charm and artisanal quality, these vintage hand puppets offer a special touch to imaginative play and storytelling. Unsigned but I believe they were most likely made by a local artist as a got them near her studio. These are so unique and it seems like they would even be beautiful for an art collector or museum collection. I’m not sure of whose likeness these were sculpted after but they are such wonderful expressive pieces of functional art. They are delicate with some wear but seem to be in good condition with no cracks or noticeable chips found. Really special group of puppets.
