Beehive Honey Pot Set of 2 Pine Timber with Brass Bee
Laure is a pair of honey pots turned from pine timber into the round, ribbed shape of an old straw beehive. The coils wind up the body the way they do on a real skep, and a few brass bees rest on the sides, caught as if they have just landed. Each lid is the same warm pine, lifted by a small brass ring worn down to a soft gold.
The larger stands about 14 cm tall and the smaller about 11.5 cm, a touch more with the ring raised, and both lift open to a hollow inside. Keep them closed as a quiet pair on a kitchen shelf, or open them for rings, trinkets, or the small things that gather by the kettle. For anyone who loves bees, they are a gift that hardly needs wrapping.
