This item is a vintage large oval Schwinn head badge manufactured for B.F. Goodrich bicycles.

Before the 1960s, the Arnold, Schwinn & Co. factory produced high-quality bicycles badged for hardware stores, tire companies, and department stores under various "house brand" names.

Production Period: Circa 1950 to 1960.

Design Details: This is the "large oval" variant, which stands approximately 3-11/16 inches tall with a standard Schwinn screw-hole spacing of 3-3/16 inches. Schwinn abandoned large oval co-branded retailer badges around 1960 when they transitioned to smaller oval badges and focused on their exclusive dealer network.
