Low mileage, mechanically sound, some rust around rear wheel arches (see photos) - which is typical for this model. Everything working, other than light sensor (you can usually tell whether it's dark by looking through the windows, though). MOT end of August, drives beautifully. Only selling as I have done less that 1,000 miles per year for the last several years. No p/x, as I have plenty of cars already (hence not driving this one much), thanks. Two new batteries, one brand new tyre (P Zeroes all round). Have been advised to leave the rust, rather than make it look smart - was quoted £300, but I don't want to hide the issue and would advise cut/plate (which might be £2k) or it will come through again. Hence, have set reasonable price. Full service history, MB and Star Tech.
I have owned the car for over 16 years and spent thousands on it - mostly in the earlier years to get it sorted. As well as regular services (oil change, filters, fluids, wiper blades, hoses, batteries, brake pads, etc - whatever was needed), the car has had new (costs exclusive of labour):
shock absorber (£1,210 in 2023, 74,788 miles, ie: 1,600 miles ago);
hydropneumatic spring leg and tandem ABC/PAS pump (£2,0150 in 2022, 2,300 miles ago);
PSE pump contact spiral, control unit, EIS switch, steering column control module (£2,110 in 2018);
brake lamp, boot handle, central locking system electrical circuit, pump, rear window, window seals/covering/support/sealing strips, strut (£5,800 in 2014);
battery, battery breather pipe, crank shaft position sensor and sender unit, compressor drive belt, tensioner pulley, alternator pulley, compressor pulley, right and left lower steering knuckle joints, spring struts, valve covers, coolant pipe (£6,629 in 2013)
air pump, brake lamp, actuation switch for remote trunk lid release (£1,800 in 2012).
