Sealed in a frame under glass,this old sea chart covers Venice Italy

Based on the survey of Captain W.H. Smyth of the Royal Navy in 1819

and published by The Hydrographic Office of the Admiralty on Aug 1, 1843

It is in excellent condition,

 The detail from the copper plate is incredible.

you can see the marks from the pressing on the edges and corners.

It has a little foxing on the corners

It doesn't seem to have been folded, possibly cut from a book as the left edge is cut unevenly.

It measures 13 1/2 inches wide and is 17 inches tall.

The frame is 20 inches tall and 16 1/2 inches wide

It has a wire on the back for hanging.
