Heavy 8 lbs each. 9" tall x 7 x 7". Could be any number of dark and heavy likely African wood. Very dark burgundy color. Each made from a solid block not glued together. One had the top broken off and glued back on. It was s clean break. See photos. Can be used as is or re-turned into small plates bowls toppers knife scales or whatever. African blackwood woodturning blanks this size would cost about $400 each.
