A full-size Squier by Fender Strat-style electric guitar in black, identified by serial number YN622687 and its Fender 50th Anniversary commemorative sticker as a 1996 example. It has a maple neck, dark rosewood fingerboard, three single-coil pickups, a five-way selector switch, one volume control, two tone controls and a tremolo bridge with the tremolo arm included.
This is a genuine one-owner guitar. I purchased it new in 1996, used it personally and have owned it ever since. It was later placed into long-term loft storage.
The guitar has now been connected to the included Johnny Brook practice amplifier and confirmed to produce amplified sound. The amplifier powers on and produces guitar sound. This was a basic functional test rather than a professional inspection or full setup.
The package also includes a padded RockBag gig bag and two 6.35mm instrument leads, one black and one green. The amplifier's exact model number and wattage are not confirmed.
Used condition with signs of age and previous use. The gloss black body has surface scratches and scuffs, including concentrated scratching to the front, a small paint chip/mark near the upper edge of the pickguard, small chips and edge wear to the back.
The pickguard, pickup covers and control knobs show yellowing, and general age-related discolouration. The bridge, screws and other metal parts show some tarnishing. The fingerboard, frets and strings show use, and the guitar may benefit from fresh strings and a professional setup to suit the buyer.
Testing: The guitar was connected to the included amplifier and confirmed to produce amplified sound. No professional inspection, servicing or setup has been carried out, so the test should not be taken as confirmation that every component has been professionally assessed.
The Johnny Brook practice amplifier is used and shows cosmetic marks and signs of previous use to the blue covering, control panel, handle and cabinet. It powers on and produced amplified guitar sound during testing. The AUX input and headphones socket have not been tested. The exact model number and wattage have not been confirmed.
The RockBag gig bag is used and has scuffs, creasing, fraying and torn/damaged areas around the rear straps, attachment points and lower areas. The two instrument leads are also used. Please study all photographs carefully for the exact cosmetic condition of every item included.
