Bring warm, retro vibes into your home with this gorgeous 1970s Spanish Revival swag pendant light.  This lamp features a large, Beautifully textured amber glass globe with a quilted/hobnail patter that casts a mesmerizing textured glow when lit.

Found hanging from the refter of an old shed, covered in dust and partially exposed to the elements.  The original finish on the metal housing seems to have been a gloss gold, but little of it remained over the course of the decades it had been left and forgotten.  It was covered in dirt, and the cord was old and frayed.  I took it home and gave it some love hoping it would come back.  The globe cleaned up beautifully although it was a challenge, and I replaced the wiring, the original metal chain which was almost rusted through in places, and the switch.  The bulb and socket are original to the piece and still work. I chose to paint the decorative metal housing in semi-gloss back which is a beautiful contrats to the deep amber glass.

The fixture is stamped WOELD-WIDE BUYING SERVICE, TOKYO JAPAN, and there is also an item number stamped.  The cord is 14.5 inches long, and the switch is 12 feet from the top of the fixture. Chain is also 12 feet long (extends from the lamp to the on/off switch).

This is a beautiful lamp that is worthy of a new home. I love rescuing things and getting them into the hands of people who appreciate them.
