This is a vintage Replogle "World Ocean" Series desk globe. It features a detailed terrestrial map with raised relief topography and specialised ocean floor details, mounted within a semi-meridian ring on a turned wooden pedestal base.

Key Characteristics

Brand: Replogle Globes, Inc. (Made in the USA).

Series: World Ocean Series.

Features: Tactile raised relief mountain ranges and highly detailed bathymetric ocean floor mapping.

Stand Design: Turned dark-stained wood baluster stem supported by a matching tiered circular wooden base.

Mounted in a Brass Meridian with two Axes of rotation.
