For sale a hard to find vintage, probably World War II or earlier Seth Thomas very large and heavy ships clock. Not sure of age but am pretty sure World War II or earlier. Dial in great original condition, brass case in good shape as well. Clock has just been cleaned and is working and keeping good time though not quartz time. The dial measures 8 1/2” across and the case measures almost 10 3/4” across. My understanding is these types of Seth Thomas clocks were made in response to Chelsea ships clocks, which were the best quality ships clocks back then. This is a heavy clock, weighing in at 13lbs.
