This is a colourful 20th century post-impressionist suburban landscape painting by American artist, Nell Hirschkind (1894-1973).

Titled “Right of Window 2” this striking piece depicts houses amid trees in a lush landscape.

One of a group I have had by this artist, only one was visibly signed, although all were of a similar style, and had almost identical titles, referring to views from a window. . 

SIZE

Measures approx 52.5 x 42 cm including the frame, making this a mid size piece. 

CONDITION

In good condition, this has some marks and wear to the frame.
