These commemorative stamps were issued to mark the TENTH ANNIVERSARY of Australian Administration of NEW GUINEA. These lovely stamps were issued by the then Australian Government printer JOHN ASH out of MELBOURNE during the period 1931 to 1934. THIS PAGE BEAUTIFULLY DEMONSTRATES THE COLOURS AND DENOMINATIONS OF THE RANGE. There are 42 RAGGIANAs here (one pair) to the 2/- Value - mostly very fine used and mint. My estimate of the Stanley Gibbons (2022 "AUSTRALIA with States and Dependencies") CV for this group would be in the order of £250 ($500AU). As you can see, these are very nice from the back (the usual tropicalisation) and the colour of the fronts is lovely. Quite striking, and seldom offered, on a full page like this!
