This piece is in beautiful condition.
Fashion in the 1950s was all about innovative design and the Lucite box purse represented elegance and modern style. This purse was made by Wilardy Original one of the premiere designers of high-end Lucite purses. The clasp is gold tone with a Lucite Inlay clasp. The lining, a beautiful brown moire satin is gold stamped Wilardy Original. It features two slip pockets lined in a gold trim in pristine condition. The double Lucite handle is twisted.
Measurements: Box - 10 1/4" long, 8 3/8" tall, 3 1/4" wide, Handle - 6" from box to top
Excellent Condition: slight wear on clasp (see photo). Fine scratches on outside (unable to photograph). Clasp works. Hinges intact and working. Attachment points are original and secure. Lining fabric is intact. No chips or cracks.
