This attractive desk accessory features a white enamel body with a decorative black floral border, "Writing Ink" on the lid, and "Walton Street Writing Ink London" printed inside the lid. The base is marked 'The Walton Street Stationery Company – Staffordshire Enamels – Made in England in the old Bilston Battersea Tradition.'

The enamel is in excellent vintage condition with a bright glossy finish and no visible chips or cracks. The gold-tone metal mount shows noticeable age-related wear, tarnishing and corrosion, particularly around the hinge. The hinge remains attached and functional but has some movement (slightly wobbly), consistent with age and use.
