Here is a hard plastic figurine of an angry brown bear, maybe a grizzly or a Kodiak, made by the German company Schleich in 2012. This figurine is in a standing pose, with mouth open aggressively. It is about 4 1/4 inches long by about 2 1/2 inches tall. Schleich figures are good quality and quite nicely sculpted. This one is really well-done sculpting-wise; very realistic with good detail and proportions and paint job; it does not beg to be re-painted as some plastic toys do. It is solid plastic, and the plastic is not brittle but slightly bendy, not enough to give it "rubber-legs", but enough so if your young animal-lover drops it, it won't break. Embossed on the ventral side (tummy) it says: "Schleich '12 AmLimes 69 D-73527 Schw. Gmund Made in China", plus a copyright symbol and several other symbols. It is in very good condition.
