This scarce, genuine copper engraving in original colors shows a very decorative view of the preparations to defend Constantinople against the British attack on March 21st 1807 during the Anglo-Turkish War. It was published by Basset, Paris in 1807, measures 27 x 39 cm (platesize) + text and is in good condition. There is some light browning due to age.
