- Remarks: The engraving shows an elaborately designed General view of Venice seen from the lagoon. In the foreground there is a rich sailing ship and gondola decoration. The decorative, old-colored view is complemented by two city coats of arms and a title cartouche.
English description:An appealing and rare view of Venice at the end of the 17th century in original colors. The panorama shows Venice from the laguna with many ships and vessels in the foreground. The engraving measures 19 x 32 cm (platemark) and is in good condition. There is an unobtrusive, restored tear at the lower left corner.
