This vintage Dansk Kobenstyle paella pan is a mid-century modern icon designed by Danish master Jens Quistgaard in the 1960s. Masterfully engineered from enameled steel, it pairs a vibrant turquoise exterior with a clean, high-contrast white interior that brightens any kitchen. Its most defining characteristic is the sculptural, wing-like loop handles welded flush to the sides, reflecting the minimalist and functional aesthetic of Scandinavian design.
Beyond its striking visual appeal, the pan is a highly versatile workhorse capable of transitioning from gas, electric, and induction cooktops directly into the oven up to 450°F. The heavy-gauge steel core provides swift, even heat distribution, making it ideal for shallow frying, searing, and baking. Though it was used regularly over the years, as shown in the photos and detailed in the Condition Description, the pan still looks great for its age.
Note that due to the size and weight, I'll absorb the shipping cost myself.
