Genuine VAG special tool model number T10025 . This is a proper heavy duty piece of kit for holding the crankshaft pulley while tightening the centre pulley bolt to the incredibly high torque / stretch specified by Volkswagen. I used to use this for the T4 Transporter and Caravelles 2.4 diesel and 2.5 TDI diesel looking on line it might be suitable for some Volvo's with the same engine last two pictures are just off the internet to give some idea of models covered but please make your own checks before purchasing. I also have for sale in a separate listing a AST DTI pump timing set for setting the pump timing on these engines. Please take the time to study the pictures carefully for condition and sizes as they form part of the description.
