This item is a vintage Zimco finger cake slice (or pastry/pie server). It was manufactured under the "Lancelott of Sheffield" trademark and produced by J. Zimmerman & Co of Birmingham, England, around the 1950s.

Design Features

Material: High-polish Silver plated metal.

Shape: A traditional shield-shaped flat blade featuring an intricate, pierced filigree cut-out pattern.

Handle: A short, curved "finger hook" loop designed for steady control while lifting small finger cakes, tarts, or pastries from a serving tray.

Packaging: Presented in its original red-and-white textured presentation box reading "Lancelott of Sheffield - Made in England"

The slice is marked "Lancelott E.P.N.S. Made in Sheffield"
