Original Watercolor by Betty Howard
Sigma Chi Fraternity House - Miami University - Oxford, Ohio
Miami University Sigma Chi Fraternity House that was on the famous Fraternity Row located next to the football field. According to the included newspaper clipping from The Miami Student.
The Miami University Sigma Chi chapter house on High Street in Oxford, Ohio, was torn down over a summer vacation in the 1960's (possibly 1967). The classic, older chapter house was demolished during the summer months to clear the way for a brand-new, modern chapter house facility.
Betty Howard, a well-known Cincinnati artist, captured the original Greek style architect in this fabulous watercolor.
