This listing is for a vintage Selmer Clarion mouthpiece for Bb soprano clarinet. These were made by O'Brien. It is made of crystal/glass and has triple fluted sides. It has "H+" etched on the table, and the tip opening measures 1.1mm (.0435").
This mouthpiece is in good used condition. There are a couple tiny nicks on the facing, but none on the tip, and no significant chips. There is some roughness/chipping at the back of the body, which I suspect is from the original molding of the glass as opposed to damage after the fact. I just don't see how chips like that could be produced (by say dropping the mouthpiece) without totally shattering it. However, I could see how little chunks might break out when the mold is opened up. That is just speculation though, so please make your own determination. Regardless, the roughness at the back of the body doesn't affect playability. There are no other issues to note. The cork is brand-new. This mouthpiece has been cleaned/sanitized.
