The U.S. Navy's USS Fort Worth (LCS-3) littoral combat ship was built by Marinette Marine and is the second littoral combat ship constructed by the primary contractor Lockheed Martin following the USS Freedom. The ship features a monohull semi-planing steel hull and can reach speeds of over 45 knots.
