Condition: This train kit is complete and unused, with some sealed parts and still requiring assembly. Cosmetically, the components are in excellent condition overall, other than showing minor scratches (most noticeable under certain lighting), and rust on the weight possibly from moving inside the box, age or the factory, although I cannot confirm. The kit includes the instruction sheet and it comes in its original box, showing typical shelf wear, including blemishes, scratches, stains, paint chips, and possible discoloration, yet remaining presentable. Despite these minor imperfections, this kit would make a great addition to any HO scale model railroad layout.
Final Note on my Description & Condition: I always try my best to describe the good the bad and the ugly of my trains; nevertheless please look closely at the photos with zoom feature as they are a part of the visual description and that way you can make your own judgment on the condition of the train so that there are not surprises and so that you know exactly what you are getting yourself, especially when everyone views condition differently.
