Please read this article about this Ferrari; it's the reason I ultimately chose this specifically equipped Cali T: https://www.autoblog.com/news/2017-ferrari-california-t-handling-speciale-first-drive-review#slide-1407461
This 2017 Ferrari California T is being offered for the
knowledgeable and discerning sports-car shopper. I purchased it in March of
2021 when it had 13K miles, and I’ve driven it approximately that same number
of miles in the 5 years I’ve owned it. It is finished in Argento Nürburgring
over black leather and features a carbon-fiber steering wheel and interior trim
as well as Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, rear camera, 20″ diamond cut wheels,
carbon-ceramic brakes, and a retractable hardtop.
I shopped the entire country for this Ferrari for over 3
months in 2021, as there were two critical options that I’d read were
necessary for the California T to be the best it can be: The Handling
Speciale Package and Apple CarPlay*. Regardless of the ridiculous ~$20K
price for those options from the factory, these two items made the car perfect for me.
Previous to this beast I drove a 2013 Porsche 911S Cab for over six years. It was a
perfect car for me, but I wanted more of everything, so after much consternation I
settled on the Cali T*. For me, it’s essentially a convertible 911 GT3 (not a real thing of course).
The car was driven by two previous owners (2 years each) until
2021, and it now has 26,120 miles on the odometer. Having moved from the west
coast in 2025, it is now offered in Georgia with all owner’s manuals, a battery
tender, a wind deflector, 2 keys, car cover and bag, a clean Carfax report, and
a clean California title. All under-warranty service was performed as scheduled
in California at Newport Beach, and also in Las Vegas. Most recently the car
was serviced in Atlanta, and has a new battery as of April, 2026.
It came from the factory with Black-finished 20″ split-spoke
alloy wheels (currently mounted with 245/35 front and 285/30 rear Michelin
Pilot Sport 4S tires) as well as black finishing across exterior details. The
tinted windows were done by the previous owner, and they show zero wear. When I
purchased the car from Tactical Fleet I had them install the black wrap on the top,
and I had that re-done last year as it was showing some wear.
Please refer to the trunk build placard shown in the photo
for details on the options installed. Also note that when I purchased it I
added the aluminum passenger foot-rest, and California T floor mats.
The interior of this car is remarkably like what it was in
2021; I am very impressed with how the black leather has held up. This being my first Ferrari, the thick Italian leather performs much better than Porsche leather. There are no
anomalies or tears of any kind anywhere. The Apple CarPlay makes the stereo an
entirely different thing (from standard), and is well-worth the factory $8K option.
The exterior is very good but has a few imperfections; after all this car has been driven over 26,000 miles. The nose has a few rock chips and the black grill has numerous chips which have been touched up. Please note the picture of the ding on the hood near the VIN. It happened randomly when I lived in Las Vegas.
I would much prefer to keep this machine; it's perfect for me, but alas I've been out of work for 2+ years and it's time to use the funds for something more practical. Please message me with any questions at all. There is nothing out of place or non-functional on this car. I take care of my things (especially cars)!
