This pendant reflects the movement of the sun and the effect the pagan snake god Crom had on Christianity in Ireland.

Ireland’s famous masterpiece, the Ardagh Chalice, from the late 6th to early 9th Century, is the inspiration for this silver Irish Celtic pendant. The pendant also includes symbols that would have been found on the shield of ancient Celtic warriors with intertwining detail that is a symbol of rebirth and the continuity of life. It also shows two warriors locked together in combat.
