The product is a vintage mystery cast iron part with a "Pat Appd For" designation, which means that at the time the patent was pending. This is a very odd part, and I am unable to find any information on this. It loosens up and will come apart. It appears to be some sort of clamp or hose redirector; I am not sure. Could be from some old farm equipment or maybe an old automobile. If anyone knows what this is, feel free to let me know. I am sure someone out there knows what this is and wants it. This item is made of durable cast iron and was manufactured in the United States, adding to its historical and architectural value. Whether used for farming or automotive purposes, this piece offers a glimpse into the past and can be a valuable addition to any antique collection. I do combine shipping if more than one item is purchased.
