Gigabyte AORUS Master Motherboard (X-Series Platform) – High-End Enthusiast Board – Faulty / For Repair or Parts
For sale is my Gigabyte AORUS Master high-end motherboard, a flagship-level enthusiast board designed for high-performance CPUs and multi-drive workstation or gaming builds.
This board is being sold as faulty / for repair / parts, and is therefore priced accordingly.
The motherboard was previously working as part of a high-performance creative workstation build. However, it has recently developed a fault and will no longer complete a normal boot cycle.
When power is applied to the system, the motherboard powers on but remains in a flashing state at the onboard power indicator, and does not proceed to POST or system startup. The power button LED continues to flash consistently.
No further progress is made into BIOS or operating system loading.
To isolate the issue, I carried out standard component-level troubleshooting, including:
Testing with different power supplies
Removing all non-essential components
Testing without storage devices and peripherals
CPU reseating and minimal boot configuration
Despite these checks, the fault behaviour remains unchanged.
I cannot guarantee the exact cause of the fault. It may be related to:
motherboard-level fault
BIOS/firmware corruption
power delivery or controller issue
This is being sold strictly as not working / for repair or parts, and is reflected in the price.

This board was used in a high-end workstation build alongside an Intel i9 processor and multiple storage drives for creative production work. It supported a high number of NVMe and SATA drives in my configuration, which was one of the reasons it was chosen for this system.
The fault developed suddenly during normal use, and the system has since been replaced with a different platform.
Due to this fault and my migration to a new AMD-based platform, I am no longer able to use or repair this board within my current setup.
Rather than attempt further repair, I am passing it on to someone who may wish to:

diagnose it further
or use it for parts
