For your consideration is the scarce miniature deck of educational playing cards, GAME OF WILD ANIMALS, published by the CINCINNATI GAME COMPANY in about 1900, shortly after the company succeed the FIRESIDE GAME COMPANY, which copyrighted this game in 1895.  PLEASE NOTE: This is not the later, more common, standard-sized version of the game published by the Cincinnati Game Company  in 1903.  The game is complete with 52 cards (13 sets of 4 from A-B to Y-Z).  Each set of four cards depicts two animals whose names correspond to the first letter on the cards and two animals whose names correspond to the second letter on the cards; for example A-B 1 ALPACA, A-B 2 ANTELOPE, A-B 3 BISON, A-B 4 BEAR.

The cards measure 1-11/16th inches by 2-11/16th inches.  When fully opened, the Rules for Playing measure 4-9/16th inches by 3-5/16th inches; when closed and folded, they measure 1-11/16th inches by 2--3/8th inches.  The box measures 1-15/16th inches by 2-3/4 inches by 3/4ths of an inch.

Complete with 52 miniature cards, which are well-used: rubbed and soiled.  See the close-ups (front and back) of cards with damage.  The 4-sided Rules booklet is rubbed and soiled, folded at the original crease, and with a small edge tear.  One corner of the box top and one corner of the box bottom have been repaired (internally glued).  The box cover is rubbed and soiled with heaviest wear at the edges and corners.   PLEASE MOUSE OVER THE PHOTOGRAPHS FOR CONDITION DETAILS.
