I an selling an original 1936-37 membership card from the Leicestershire Aero Club Ltd.

This piece of pre-war aviation history is made out to a female member, "Miss V.M. Parr" (Member No. 495), with dues paid up to September 30th, 1937. It features the printed signature of the honorary treasurer, E. A. Underwood.

The card notes the location as "The Airport, Leicester," referencing the historic Braunstone Airport site which opened in 1935 and was later utilized during WWII. Measuring approximately 75mm x 47mm, it’s a wonderful, compact piece of social and local aviation history from the "Golden Age" of flying clubs.

Perfect for collectors of interwar British aviation memorabilia or Leicestershire local history.
