A film cell is a single frame from an original reel of motion picture film. Each one represents a specific moment captured during production. These frames are increasingly rare due to the shift to digital projection, making them sought-after pieces for collectors.

Every cell in my collection is hand-selected, often sourced from online auctions, with a focus on:

The cell you receive will match the one shown in the photos. In fast-moving scenes, slight variations may occur (e.g., a character’s expression or lighting), but all variations are shown in the listing images.

Film Cell Condition:

As these are genuine original film cells — many from older productions — minor surface marks or light scratches may be present. These subtle imperfections are a natural result of the cell’s time in active use and handling during projection, and they add to the authenticity and charm of owning an actual piece of cinema history. They do not affect the image quality when the cell is backlit.
