No marks are present on the bisque head or shoulderplate .Entirely typical of quality French fashion dolls of the period, where specialist bisque head makers, body makers, and assemblers worked independently.

Pressed bisque swivel head on bisque shoulderplate. No marks. No hairlines. No chips. No repairs. Perfect antique condition.
Beautiful creamy white bisque with hand-applied single-stroke feathered brows, multi-stroke painted lashes, and a softly smiling closed coral mouth.
Large almond-shaped fixed dark brown/amber glass eyes : luminous, expressive, and full of character.
Pierced ears (no earrings present).
Original cork pate and wooden neck button.
BODY:
Gusseted kid leather with individually stitched separated fingers and defined toes :quality French fashion doll construction.
Body is structurally sound and poseable.
Heavy age patina: significant darkening, surface staining, and leather cracking consistent with 150 years of age.
All fingers and toes intact.

Original human hair in ash blonde/honey tone, upswept chignon style.
