For sale is the powerhead for a 1988-1997 Suzuki 9.9 hp 2-stroke outboard, applications below. This powerhead was removed from a motor that was only used in freshwater. It has been overheated, but it did survive the overheating- compression is 90 psi in both cylinders and the motor did run. There is some scoring in the cylinders, not anything that you can catch with a fingernail though.
The pressed reciprocating assembly is nice and tight, and the powerhead does turn over smoothly with very good reed suction.
All that said, we are selling this as a core. It would be worth re-ringing as it is an extremely clean assembly from a freshwater environment. No cracks, breaks, or welds!
