Luang Phor Ngern – Wat Bang Klan
Luang Phor Ngern (Phutthachot) was a highly respected Buddhist monk from Wat Bang Klan in Phichit Province. He lived during the early Rattanakosin era (from the reign of King Rama I to King Rama VI) and was widely known for his deep meditation practice (vipassana) and powerful spiritual abilities, especially in the areas of metta (loving-kindness), invulnerability, and protection from harm.

Ordained: Around 1830 (B.E. 2373) at Wat Chanasongkram, Bangkok
Dharma name: Phutthachot -
Passed away: September 20, 1919 (B.E. 2462), aged 111, after 90 rains retreats
