After removing a casting from the mold, make sure that all silicone registration keys/pins are properly seated back into their original positions. Failure to do so may result in casting defects during the next pour.

To maximize the lifespan of your mold:
Do not leave the silicone mold exposed to direct sunlight.
After demolding, always return the mold to its original shape.
Do not store the silicone mold inside-out or inverted.
When storing, always keep the silicone supported by the custom fiberglass mother mold supplied with the mold.
Do not leave cured castings inside the mold for extended periods. This prevents proper ventilation and may shorten mold life.
When casting heat-generating resins (such as polyester or polyurethane), allow the mold to cool between consecutive castings. This helps extend the service life of the silicone.
