DESCRIPTION
A complete antique French formal dining set in heavy linen damask, comprising a large tablecloth and the full original set of 12 matching napkins. The damask is woven in substantial, high-quality linen with an all-over floral and foliate medallion motif within a decorative structured border, typical of fine French bourgeois household production from the late 19th to early 20th century, Belle Epoque period.
The colour is warm cream-beige ecru -- the authentic natural tone of quality aged linen damask. The weight and handle of this cloth is exceptional for the period. This is serious, heirloom-grade table linen.
Each piece carries a beautifully embroidered script monogram BM, worked in the traditional French trousseau style with elegant cursive letterforms and characteristic decorative dot details. The embroidery is in excellent condition on every piece. Complete matched sets of this size, weight, and period with all 12 napkins present are genuinely rare on the market.

Tablecloth and 9 napkins: very good antique condition. No holes, tears, or significant marks. All hems intact. The linen is clean, strong, and flat. Minor age characteristics consistent with genuine antique status only.
3 napkins: very slightly darker in shade than the rest of the set due to differential storage over many decades. Small light age and storage spots present on these three pieces. No structural damage, no mould, no active deterioration. Clearly shown in photographs.
