The basic error of the P4085 device, expressed as a percentage of the nominal resistance, does not exceed the values specified in Table 1, under the following normal conditions: ambient air temperature (20 ± 2) °C;
relative ambient air humidity of no more than 80%.
The actual resistance value of 1 GΩ at a temperature t°C within the range of 15...30 °C is determined by the formula:
Rt = 109[(t-20)+(t-20)2] Ohm
Changes in the nominal resistance of the P4085 resistance standard device (except 1 GΩ) with changes in ambient air temperature within the range of 10...35 °C do not exceed half the permissible value of the basic error for every 5 °C change in temperature.
The insulation resistance between the measuring circuit of the P4085 resistance standard (terminals "1", "2", "0") and the shield (terminal "3") is at least 1013 Ohm; The minimum resistance between the screen (terminal "3") and the housing is 5 x 1011 Ohms.
The device's insulation strength is tested at 2 kV. The mean time between failures under operating conditions is at least 2500 hours. The average service life is at least 8 years.
The device's overall dimensions are no more than 120 x 130 x 300 mm. The weight of the P4085 resistance tester is no more than 3 kg.
