This type of item would have been posted to record shops throughout the UK promoting new record releases and were not available to the general public. Quite often due to the amount of publicity shops received from the different competing record companies, they were simply put aside or even thrown away.
Many years ago we were lucky enough to purchase a quantity of unopened envelopes containing these type of items, this being one of them.
This one dates from August 1957 and was posted out from EMI to record stores in the UK promoting the current best sellers on their group of labels.
This should be of particular interest to Elvis collectors as All Shook Up is at the top making it a worthy item to be framed.
This item was folded once when originally posted in 1957 and the same fold will be used when posting this time.
