Antique Victorian Wooden Desktop Writing Inkstand / Stationery Letter Rack

A beautiful Victorian era walnut desktop writing inkstand which would have been used to hold stationery and writing equipment in a time when written correspondence was at its height. 

This beautiful stationery stand features two cut glass inkwells with decorative brass hinged lids, an integrated letter rack for organising correspondence and papers along with a lower drawer for storing writing accessories, stamps or other small stationery items. 

Crafted from richly wood with contrasting ebony boarders, the inkstand displays the workmanship and timeless appeal associated with Victorian desk accessories.

An ideal addition to any antique desk, study, library or collection of antique woodenware, this piece serves as either a decorative display item or a functional desktop tidy / organiser.

Will look great upon a desk, sideboard, entrance hall sideboard or in a library or office.
